The Seeds of Trust: Bloom Beyond Doubt This Spring

Welcome to springtime! After this long and cold winter, it’s uplifting to welcome the longer days and warmer weather. I wonder what you appreciate most about Spring? The sunshine, the fragrance of the trees and flowers, the springtime holidays representing rebirth and renewal, or even the simple pleasure of listening to the laughter of children playing out of doors.

The months of April and May are notorious planting months. People consider what flowers to plant or vegetables to grow in their home gardens. It’s fun to plan a garden visually with different colors and species to give their environment great curb appeal. It’s also idyllic weather – it’s neither too hot nor too cold.

Springtime is also a fertile time to plant ideas, hopes, and dreams! Think about how many weddings there are in May and June!

What are your seeds of desire?

Take a moment and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths, then imagine dropping your thinking mind into your heart.

Imagine this any way that feels right for you. You are doing great! Now ask your heart this question… What does my heart truly desire for my highest and greatest good? Trust the first answer you receive. If you receive a generic answer such as, I want you to be happy, thank your heart for this response and ask, What would make me happy?

Trust Yourself!
Listening to inner wisdom is a skill. This is sometimes referred to as intuition. Your heart is home to your intuition or your higher-self—the part of you that is pure love. Your heart is full of wisdom and knows your deepest desires. Let your heart reveal what would make you happy.

You can also let your heart share the reasons for any past resistance to change, allowing yourself to be happy, or even any limiting beliefs you may harbor—which are often just attempts to keep you safe.

Guidance from the heart center is usually very helpful and concise. It will also resonate with you and give you hopeful and optimistic feelings.

My Winter Holiday Dreams
Right after the winter holiday season, my heart was encouraging me to write a book. I found this odd, as I always struggled with reading and writing classes during elementary school. I always had difficulty constructing sentences and rarely got better than B grades. But the nudge was persistent!

So I found a brand new journal that was stored away and began writing my book! I am loving the process and find it so easy to write, craft sentences, and develop characters. Who would have thought this was even possible? My heart did!

So I playfully encourage you to drop into your heart center and ask:

What does my heart truly desire?

Next, Get Ready To Take Inspired Action
Now that you’ve connected with your heart’s desire, it’s time to nurture it—just like a planted seed. Here are a few simple steps to help your dreams take root and grow:

1. Water it with attention.
Give your dream space in your life. Reflect on it daily. Jot down ideas or steps you could take. Even the smallest actions—like a five-minute brainstorm or a phone call—can move you forward.

2. Keep the soil rich with self-belief.

If old doubts or limiting beliefs pop up, acknowledge them gently, then return to your intention. Remind yourself: I am capable, I am worthy, and I trust my inner wisdom.  In my opinion and experience TRUST is the opposite of DOUBT, and feels a whole lot better emotionally.

3. Protect your garden.
Just as you would protect new plants from a sudden frost, protect your energy and mindset from negativity. Be mindful of what you consume—conversations, news, even your own inner dialogue.

4. Celebrate every sprout.
Every time you follow your intuition, make a little progress, or even simply show up for yourself—that’s a win. Notice these moments and celebrate them! They are evidence that your dreams are alive and growing.

This Season, Move from Doubt to Trust

Let this spring be your turning point—not just in the outer world, but within yourself. As nature blossoms, let your confidence bloom too. Trust that your heart knows the way, even when your mind isn’t sure.

Doubt may have held you back in the past—but this season, you are choosing to believe. You are choosing to listen to the quiet wisdom within. You are choosing to trust that your dreams are valid, worthy, and entirely possible.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to begin.

Wishing you a season of inspired clarity, grounded courage, and joyful transformation.

With warmth and belief in you,
Donna
