Our Customized Approach To Weight Loss

Premises: 

Premise 1) Calories In = Calories Out.   Premise 2) Quality Counts!  Calories must be nutritionally sound. These are foods having vitamins and minerals that support the body, can be absorbed and utilized by the body.

Keys for Weight Loss Success are Preparation and Execution.

Key 1: Shop Smart. Shop local stores which carry good quality products.

Key 2: Plan to cook. Cook enough food for at least half the week. Place cooked foods in specific portion size containers for quick and easy consumption.

Key 3: Food combinations. Eat foods that work well together, that are utilized efficiently in the body. For example animal proteins such as meat, fish, chicken etc., should be consumed with a leafy green (romaine lettuce) and a quality fibrous low glycemic index starch as (butternut squash or baby blue potatoes.). Proteins will be modified for vegans or those with special dietary needs.

Key 4: Number of meals to consume. Rule of thumb is to fuel the body every 3 to 4 hrs. This insures proper calories for the day and keeps your metabolism running constantly WHICH IS THE KEY TO FAT BURNING. We are not concerned with burning calories but we are concerned with burning FAT CALORIES. Clients are advised to eat at 9, 12, 3, 6, 9 etc.  This is tailored for each individual and high quality snacks/shakes with vitamins and minerals can also be incorporated.

Key 5:  Get your body moving.  Do what works for you – walk, run, spin, yoga, aerobics, Pilates, swim etc.

Key 6: Emotions play a key factor contributing to weight issues.  Through our coaching and/or hypnosis programs you will learn to identify, neutralize and satisfy those feelings.

OK, What is Involved and How Do I Get Started?

  1. Start keeping a food log including time of day food was consumed.
  2. You will be required to email your food log daily.
  3. You will receive a reply from Prisco daily about your food log with suggestions, comments and support.
  4. Once a week you will have a 15-30 minute coaching call with Prisco to review your goals, success and to discuss next steps in your weight loss plan. These weekly calls are designed to give you personal support, encouragement and to empower you to reach your goals.
  5. Cost – $150 per month, no contracts – only commitments to help you succeed!

All clients receive a free 15 minute complimentary consultation with Donna and Prisco to see if this program is right for you.  This session is an evaluation of your goals, dietary preferences and a review of your personal challenges.  A meal plan will then be designed specifically for you.
